I was Google chatting with this famous guy blogger the other day. The chat went thus:
Him: You on Orkut?
Me: I was, not any more
Him: Why?
Me: Well, it is more like a pick up zone...
guys seem to think it is a place to meet girls
Him: That's what I heard
I am in Orkut...
but no has tried to pick me up yet
Do you think there is something wrong with me? :)

Orkut can be used for all purposes, from academic discussions to flirting. Depends on the individual.

:) A very innocent question .:))). Orkut has worked for some ppl..My friend after months of intense orkutting and scrapping found a girl friend through that :)..Its very addictive though, with all those nonsense communities.

a friend's sis was saying she intended to change her status to committed, to keep away strangers who keeping sending friend requests hoping to get lucky! now, will we guys ever get to see it, the other way around...gals hitting on us in orkut!
